    In our Quick Look Drug Book, it recommends using the Tall-man lettering system to differentiate between medications with “look-alike” names.  Are we expected to use this recommended system? I cant find anything specific, even the Quick Look Drug Book itself calls it just that, a recommended revision.

    example;

    prednisone                        predniSONE

    hydroxyzine                       hydrOXYzine

    If anyone has any insight, please let me know.
